Robert Jansen’s motivational posts are influenced by research, schooling, and life experience. He grew up in a broken home. His dad was a hard working man, but also an avid “bench” drinker. Roberts dad abused him and his mom physically and mentally. When Robert reached his mid teen years his parents divorced and he went to live with his mom.
A few years later, as Robert went into the military his dad committed suicide.
Robert finished his military service with honors.
In his late twenties he was diagnosed with cancer. He went through surgery to remove the tumor and then 37 radiation treatments. Following that was severe weight and muscle loss, and only time will tell if treatments were truly successful.
Today Robert works and lives in Lexington KY. He is a popular speaker on Motivation and Personal protection skills and he works as a Personal Trainer and Life Coach, as well as a Self Defense Expert and Certified Protection Specialist.
